Music Artists Do Benefit for Pro-Abortion Organization

NEW YORK, - (1999) - Influential women artists as diverse as Jewel, Janis Ian and Odetta brought a packed Madison Square Garden Monday night as they gave a concert to benefit a national pro-abortion organization.

The History of Women in Music Concert -- a benefit for the pro-abortion Zero Population Growth's Turner/Fonda Family Planning Outreach Project -- brought together the line-up of musical artists: Paula Cole, Judy Collins, Janis Ian, Jewel, Helen Reddy, Phoebe Snow, Odetta and Mandy Barnett.

The Ted Turner/Jane Fonda Project aims to "improve access" to abortion and encourages young American to get involved in pro-abortion issues.
