The Christian Reformed Church in North America, in a 1971 report presented to synod several recommendations which were submitted and adopted including, "that synod, mindful ofthe sixth commandment, condemn the wanton or arbitrary destruction of any human being at any state of its development from the point of conception to the point of death." The CRNA is also a member of the National Association of Evangelicals and therefore adheres to its official resolution
