Some years ago, a noted writer defended the U.S. Supreme Court abortion decisions by stating that abortion should be a "right" because people should have the option of choosing between good and evil. Apparently, he could not state that abortion was not evil, but he still wanted to intellectually justify the position of his friends that abortion should be legal.
Think of it ... the right to do evil. Even the evil of killing a child before he or she is born, or, in the case of partial birth abortion, the killing of a baby as it is being born.
